A wealthy man wanted to invest his money while he’s away. His investing didn’t necessarily need to be the majority of money but in many other branches for people’s needs. Therefore he called three of his trusted friends, the first friend he called was a quite successful doctor in NYC, the second friend is a truly intelligent High School teacher in a poor school district, and his third friend is a waiter in a restaurant. The man distributes his money to his friend based on their ability. To the first friend he gives seven million dollars, two million dollars to his second friend, and one million dollars to his third friend.
Time kept going by, the doctor invested his money in a variety of ways. He saved a lot of patients’ lives that couldn’t have been treated because they don’t have insurance that covers their treatments. He worked very hard, yes he had the money but he put all of his time for his patient. After his success, he was able to open a hospital that was able to treat many of these patients add to the money he earned through the donation from the community.
The teacher invested her money in her students. She will stay an extended time out of her work schedule to help these kids. Either in her subject or other parts of the curriculum that the student needs to improve on but they couldn’t because they didn’t have the financial stability to cover for tutors. However, she was willing to put the wealthy man money on the kids of the future. Later on in life, these kids were able to graduate from High School and head their ways to colleges. Gratitude to this teacher these kids will become professionals in many different fields that will improve their poor community and on other communities as well.
Lastly, the third friend. After he took the money he was so overwhelmed with the amount. Mostly because he felt he couldn’t handle that significant amount of money. Due to his fear, he took the money and on the second day he put it in a savings account in the bank. And he went on with his life not worrying about the money.
Several years went by, and the wealthy man came back to NYC with excitement to see what’s been done with his money. He went to give a visit to the doctor. The doctor took him and showed him around the hospital. He also revealed him records of people who’ve been saved and the investment of the hospital growing every day now is worth fourteen million dollars. The man was very cheerful that his money had a good impact on people’s lives and their families. He was pleased to invest more in the hospital. Then he went to his second friend. The teacher was glad to see him with a warm welcome. That she started to introduce him to some of the students that she had. They became leaders in their careers, the man was very proud that she used his money wisely to improve the community. Then it came to the last friend, on his way to his friend’s restaurant, he passed by many homeless men in the street. He made it to the restaurant and started talking with his friend. The friend said “oh, by the way, I put all of your money in a savings account. Here’s the number of the account” a rage started to appear on the man’s face and he said “You put it in the bank` for seven years and you didn’t do anything with it” the friend said “Yes, I didn’t do anything. What were you expecting from me I am a waiter” the man responded, “ they’re many homeless men around the area you could aid them financially or in many other WAYS!, your mindless”. The man took his money with frustration. He went back to the first and the second friends and distributed the one million dollars on their investment.
